If I went outside right now, I think I’d need an aqualung. Rain poured down continuously from just before dawn until now. The roar reminded me of being close to a waterfall just after the snow melt. A steady sprinkling hits the street. A light, like an orange sun shining through a last gasp smog alert, glows from the pavement. The spots of rain make dance it like an amoeba under a hot microscope illuminator.
