Dove Canyon Reconsidered

Thanks to all the people who posted comments on my Dove Canyon article. wKenshoW mentions living in such a community and not feeling especially safer. When I think about it, perhaps the real selling point is that having a guard and a gate to pass through grants you a greater sense of self importance? Royalty for a fraction of the cost!
