Decision

If Tracy lives out the week, I will be surprised.

Lynn and I took another look at her. She eats, drinks water, and cries only when she’s lost. We’ve put her food and water in a room where we spend most of our waking hours (the computer room) and just braced ourselves for the inevitable. She seems more tired than in pain. So, unless she convulses, we are letting her pass into that good night on her own steam.

We’ve started looking for a new kitten, too. Virginia will not take the loss of her companion well, I believe. It’s best to keep her loneliness at a minimum.
