The Starrish Inquisition in Malaysia

Posted on December 3, 2002 in Justice Scoundrels

Two thoughts: first, sodomy shouldn’t be a crime when it occurs between consenting adults; and second, I doubt that Anwar Ibrahim is guilty.

Another Server Move

Posted on December 3, 2002 in Site News

To provide greater stability, Glowhost is moving me to a new box. If this message disappears, it means that I have migrated. The database is being backed up and I will restore it as soon as the move is complete.

Dreams

Posted on November 29, 2002 in Dreams

  1. Some family member hands me a long, white envelope filled with silver Kennedy half dollars.

  2. I go to a place that I have learned about on the Internet. I’m building a model railroad, it seems, and this place is an exchange for hobbyists. A map shows that it is located in a canyon. I drive to it. The exchange is located along the side of a steep road, across the street from the home of the web site owner. When you have something to exchange, you attach it to a long string. It seems that a lot of people have been by lately, adding all kinds of things to the string. I climb the hill a long way before I come to the end where I can attach the model railroad cars I have brought. As I reach for the string, however, it begins to pull away. I run after it while an African American family watches me from their backyard on the other side of the arroyo. The string pulls into a small roundhouse and out of my reach. I can’t leave my offerings there.
