Nearly Ready to Go

Posted on May 6, 2005 in Medications Weather

I don’t have enough mental capacity to think as to whether I am feeling euphoric or sad after Monday’s surgery.

Overheard at the Hospital

Posted on May 6, 2005 in Encounters Health

During the long spaces of boredom between beds or gurneys, I amused myself by writing down things I heard in the various waiting rooms or hospital corridors

Step into my contraption

Posted on May 4, 2005 in Guest Blogger

The newest invention to make your life more covenant and easier as a consumer. The contraption promises it will get all of your measurements and tell you your correct clothing size. Ladies won’t have to try on 15 different pairs of pants before finding the one that fits. Sounds like a dream come true. It’s a fad or gimmick to get you to come in and spend your money.

Blogging domination-I am too poor to buy a dictionary

Posted on May 4, 2005 in Guest Blogger

World guest blogging domination that’s my new quest. The most challenging part about being a guest blogger (for me) is keeping the owner and the dedicated readers in mind. I did express my concern and lack of content ideas to Joel yesterday he only encouraged me to use humor and said something to the effect he knows what he is in for. I am no Robin Williams.

“Comment: Well done, Shelli! Have you ever considered starting a blog-sitting service? ;)” Well no, actually I haven’t. Now, my evil little quest has been exposed.

This year will be three years of blogging under “Not Me”. I have been a guest blogger at least 4 different blogs. I have two aliases as two different sexes with open invites to post anytime. I have used Blogspot, MT, Webgui and now I can add WordPress to my repartee. Ok, you got me the above mention hardly qualifies for any kind of domination. Didn’t I mention it’s a new quest?
Please make comments to what you are using to blog. (If I knew how to make a survey here I would.)

From the hospital bed to the blog

Posted on May 3, 2005 in Guest Blogger

I have just spoke with Joel. He wanted me to give an update . He’s doing good, have too since he made the good looking ‘post op nurses’ chase him with a throw up tray. Hee hee never catch me, while dragging his IV rolling stand and making those nasty up-chuck noises. Problem with those hospital throw up trays they are too small and he over shot and sprayed his nurse. He was always one to let the girls chase him even if it’s in his dreams.
He says he is up and moving around picture of good health, he can’t wait to go home. Picture of health if your talking about a freeze frame of some horror parodoy movie. My dear, Frankenstein those 15 stitches in the back of your jaw will come out soon enough. It’s that tube from your neck filling the bag of blood, in your pajama shirt pocket that is frightening me.
For Gods Sake put some clothes on. I know you have a private room with a sofa, still you can put some pants on. Sure I know, Casanova you are reserving the silky pajamas for the night staff and the late night conversations. Slo-w down kingosobe you’ll have save yourself for your wife.
Most of what I said is true. He did say he is still on Morphine, Vicidon and anti-vomit medication , for all I know what he told me could be figments of his imagination. He said the hospital food is really good–obviously he is delirious.

What I learned about Joel

Posted on May 3, 2005 in Guest Blogger

Absolutely freakin nothing. j.k. I did however speak to his wife briefly over the phone yesterday. Joel is one lucky guy, he gets to listen to her sexy voice everyday. Seriously she should be doing voice over work. I do find it funny I have spoken to Lynn prior to Joel.
Going through this here blog-pad blogroll list, I thought I would find out something about Joel. I am in the process of making the round-up list, I have already invested a couple hours. I figure I have at least another hour or so to go. I don’t know how he does it. I have forgotten the time and effort it goes into to read every blog and find posts. What I did discover the blogs linked are full of diversity.
I am under the influence of heavy cold/flu medicine, but I gave my word I would help out. Please stayed tuned for the round-up.

Keys to the Pad

Posted on May 2, 2005 in Guest Blogger

I have been given the keys to the blog-pad. I thought, I would start off saying how we became blog-friends. Joel, had posted a news article of a person’s story -vs- police’s story. I found Joel’s post and defended the person character and just knew any comments from the police was outright wrong. It had to be a year or so later the person mentioned found the post and my comments and thanked me for the support. I replied again with your welcome. Joel then had emailed me rather confused about the comment and offered his updated url. Ever since Joel and I have been active with commenting on each others blogs and the occasional email back and forth.
Funny/Ironic part is I had been reviewing email notifications for witting in Orange for I don’t know how long.
Joel, didn’t do his usual round-up list, as one of his guest bloggers I will do it up for him. While I can’t fill his shoes I will do my best not letting the blog-pad collect dust.
