We’re finished watching the dvds, so I put them in their red envelopes and take them outside to put in the mailbox. After about a second, I realize that I am in a different light, a different atmosphere. It’s more real out there than in the condo.

Unless people are willing to meet me in Buttonwillow or Lost Hills, there won’t be any stops along the way. Just a six and a half hour stretch out of LaLa Land into the Silly Con Valley. Thanks to Lynn for agreeing to go on this trip with me. Having my closest friend along will help quite a bit.
