I gave Boadicea some catnip which she hogged to herself, her two sisters being asleep in other parts of the house. Now her fur smells faintly minty and sweet. She rolled in it, pummeled it, sniffed it, licked it and ate it. She entered a state that wobbled from sharply alert to agitated to catatonic.
When I smell her fur, she pushes her head into my nose and exudes a trembling exhalation.
