Gotta Love Orange County Bureaucracy

Gotta love this Republican-managed county of mine. I go in on Tuesday and get a 45 day extension (with receipt) from them. Today, I get a letter postmarked today (I’d like to know how they pulled that) informing me that I am to show up in court on January 6. I call the court offices immediately and discover that nobody wants to answer during the last half hour of work. I can just see some office gleep seeing the flashing button on the phone and punching it off, repeatedly.

Tomorrow I am going in again to give the supervisor a piece of my mind and get this matter straightened out.

I should check: do they contract these services out like good Republicans? That could explain a lot, too.
